You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start out at NCV level 2 and also the minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

When the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two that's equivalent to an NQF level two.
